Forensic psychology is the application of psychological knowledge within legal contexts. My training permits me to conduct a wide variety of civil and adult and juvenile criminal court-ordered, prosecution, or defense attorney sought evaluations, provide psych-legal consultation services, and act as an expert witness.
I work extensively with the Department of Corrections, Department of Children & Families and other community agencies involved in the delivery of Psycho-Legal Mental Health, as a Clinically Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CCSOTS). I specialize in the evaluation of sex offenders and psychosexual evaluations. I have many years of experience & expertise evaluating individuals charged with sexual crimes, and performing comprehensive credible sex offender risk assessments that have been accepted by State and Federal courts. Psychological and psychosexual evaluation of a sexual offender requires a review of all materials relevant to the offenses, including statements to the police, previous psychological evaluations, witness accounts of his/her behavior, and past criminal record. Such sex offender psychosexual evaluations typically include a comprehensive review of all available legal, medical, and mental health records.
I offer objective, comprehensive, and thorough sex offender evaluations (psychosexual evaluations) for individuals charged with a sexual crime, including pre-plea and pre-sentence sex offender evaluations, as well as sex offender evaluations for probation. I also provide expert witness testimony for sex offenders and those who are being evaluated for Sexually Violent Person, Sexually Violent Predator, or Sexually Dangerous Person civil commitments. These evaluations can be completed within my office and/or jail/prison settings.

I also provide consultation services to attorneys, judges, and other organizations.
Unlike clinical therapy, psycho-legal services are not covered by insurance and are charged at hourly rates. Included in these hourly rates are the assessments, time spent interviewing, reviewing the facts, report writing, court appearances and travel costs associated with court appearances. It is the responsibility of the client to pay for all services prior to any services rendered.
